When skin is exposed to the sun, it causes melanin in the skin to increase, thus turning the skin darker. These dark skin patches are known as brown spots. Also known as age spots, dark spots, sun spots or liver spots.
Brown spots generally appear on areas like the face, back, neck, chest, shoulders and hands. They typically are oval and flat on skin. Some of the main causes of brown spots are sun exposure, aging, and genetics. Factors like stress, pregnancy, vitamin deficiencies, and weak liver functioning may also contribute to this problem.
Fortunately, there are a few remedies you may try at home to help reduce or lighten the appearance of these spots. Here are some ways to get rid of brown spots on your skin.

If you have sensitive skin, dilute the lemon juice with water or rose water.
*Keep using it for at least two to three months to let your skin tone get lighter.
